All 3 main images on the front cover, contents page and double page spread add to the house style as the artists are all looking away from the camera, thus creating the 'off-guard' effect all throughout.
The house style in this issue of NME is clearly established through colour theme and particular layout.
Firstly, the typeface is noticeable straight away in front page, contents page and DPS through placements of the Masthead, cover lines on the front cover, information on the contents page and headlines on the double page spread.
The typeface is bold and mostly produced in capital letters, connoting the significance of the cover lines and allowing readers to quickly and clearly analyse the main parts of the magazine.
NME establishes the house style through an usual colour scheme on the front page and DPS by producing it in black & white. This connotes that the artist could be very classic and classy.
Although the contents page main image isn't published in black & white, the house style is still established through the placement of the masthead and red colour of the text.
